You Do Not Need Experience to Start Padel

Many people are interested in padel but delay taking the first step because they believe they are not ready. They may think they need to have played tennis before. Others assume they need to own a racket, understand the rules or arrive with three other players. Some worry that everyone on court will be more experienced than they are.
The truth is much simpler: You do not need experience to start padel. You do not need your own racket. You do not need to organise a full group. You only need the willingness to begin.

At Padel Academy of Champions, we make starting easier by organising the parts that often feel overwhelming. We help players understand the basics, identify their current level and join a suitable coaching group.

Why padel is beginner-friendly
Padel is easy to enjoy from the first session because it is normally played in doubles and the court is smaller than a tennis court. New players can begin with simple movements, short rallies and basic positioning before progressing to more technical skills. You do not need to hit the ball with maximum power. In fact, control, patience and positioning are often more important than strength.

A good beginner programme should help you learn:
• How to hold the racket.

• How to position yourself on court.

• How to serve.

• How to move with your partner.

• How to keep the ball in play.

• How to use the court walls gradually and confidently.

“But I do not have anyone to play with”

This is one of the most common concerns among new players.Padel is played with four people, but that does not mean you must find three friends before joining. A structured academy can place you in a beginner group with other players at a similar level. This removes the pressure of organising your own team and gives you the opportunity to meet new people while learning. You can come alone and still find your padel community.

“What if I am not fit enough?” You do not have to be extremely fit before your first lesson. A good coach will introduce the game at a pace that is appropriate for your ability and fitness level. As you continue playing, padel can help improve your coordination, movement, stamina and general confidence.
Progress comes through consistency, not perfection. Your first session is only the beginning. The goal of the first lesson is not to make you an expert. It is to help you feel comfortable enough to continue. At Padel Academy of Champions, our player pathway helps you move from:

Discovering the game → Learning the basics → Joining social games → Improving your skills → Competing when ready. Every champion starts somewhere. Your first step may simply be walking onto a court for the first time. Start your padel journey ,Come alone. Start at your level. Let us organise the rest.

Start from zero. Find your team. Build your game.
